Dr. Steve Green has over 40 years of experience in dentistry. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1984 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Green has dedicated his medical career to providing exceptional patient care; treating every patient as a VIP, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their dental experience. Dr. Green's philosophy revolves around caring for patients as if they were fearful of dentistry, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations. His approach to patient care is founded on his own challenging experiences with dentistry as a child, driving him to create a safe and welcoming environment for his patients.

Dr. Green thrives in a collaborative environment and believes in the importance of teamwork in providing the best possible care for his patients. He values the input of his colleagues and works closely with them to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Dr. Green's treatment planning philosophy is centered around addressing the major concerns of his patients while ensuring they fully understand their options. He emphasizes the importance of listening to his patients and involving them in the decision-making process, ensuring they are comfortable and informed every step of the way.

In addition to his DDS degree, Dr. Green has pursued advanced education and certifications, including becoming a Diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy in 2016. His dedication to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry includes attending seminars and conferences, as well as engaging with fellow dentists to discuss new developments in dentistry. As the Clinical Director of General Dentistry at Vita Dental, Dr. Green plays a crucial role in overseeing and mentoring our general dentists, ensuring they provide quality oral care and cohesive teamwork. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Green enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife of 48 years, Lana, their children, and grandchildren. His commitment to community service is also evident through his involvement with Dental Lifeline, where he has served as a founding member and President.
